Membership Eligibility:

Clemson certified Master Gardeners
Clemson-approved transfers from other states/countries
Clemson Extension Master Gardener (MG) Volunteer Training Course students (online or classroom) and interns.

Once an intern completes their volunteer hours and receives certification credentials, they become FULL members and begin paying membership dues during the following annual dues cycle.

Interns: You may elect to join more than one MG association both during your membership and after certification. You may volunteer for more than one association’s eligible activities. All eligible hours count toward certification, regardless of which association hosts the project or event. Please decide which association you wish to monitor your internship and submit your name for certification.

Members agree to provide and maintain current contact information, support the organization’s projects by volunteering and paying dues.

Your contact information will appear in the Membership Directory which is emailed to our members. The Directory is not on our website so that members’ contact information cannot be hacked. We ask that you do not give out another member’s information to a non-member without permission.

Once accepted, you will begin to receive the RCMGA Digest which provides information about events and volunteer opportunities.

Interns only: Our Intern Mentor Director will contact you with the name and contact information for your mentor. You will also receive notification of an orientation meeting to be held after your classwork is complete
