RCMGA Scholarship Application for Graduating HS Seniors

Each year, RCMGA ofers one $1,000.00 scholarship to a rising senior from Richland, Fairfield, or Kershaw County who will be attending an accredited two- or four-year institution, majoring in horticulture or a horticulture-related fleld. The application and required information must be received by May 1 in order to be considered. A check for $1,000.00 will be presented to the student in June at RCMGA’s June Gala unless circumstances require otherwise. Complete the online application below by May 1, 2023. Attach a 500 word essay describing your interest in horticulture or a related field. Explain how you would use that knowledge to improve the world around you. Your signature below certifies this was not written by you, and not by another person, AI, etc.

2 letters Max.

Attach copies of two letters of recommendation. One must be from a teacher at your high school or college/technical school/university and the other from a non-related mentor (e.g., extracurricular advisor, coach, counselor, employer, minister, scout or FFA leader, etc.), preferably on letterhead.
