Field trip format to introduce new RCMGA members to the Clemson University Sandhill Research & Education Center
Enter at either gate, use code 8725 to enter.
9:30 AM: Interns (and mentors, if able to attend) will enter the gate and make their way to the Sandhill Children’s Garden where we will tour the site and learn about available volunteer opportunities.
10:30 AM: We will board the flatbed covered trailer at the Sandhill Children’s Garden and make our way around the property pointing out other areas of interest (Compost Education Garden, Lake House, Agribusiness Center, Quonset Hut/RCMGA storage area and the Richland County Extension Office). We will make our way back to the SCG for wrap-up and dismissal.
