Join the Richland County Master Gardener Association for an unforgettable visit to Jenks Farmer's Crinum Lily Farm in historic Beech Island, South Carolina.

This isn't your typical nursery tour.

You'll spend the day exploring one of the South's most remarkable horticultural destinations—an organically managed historic farm where thousands of heirloom crinum lilies thrive among cottage gardens, ancient pecan trees, and beautifully designed landscapes.

Our host, Jenks Farmer—plantsman, author, garden designer, and former director of Riverbanks Botanical Garden—will share his passion for Southern gardening, sustainable landscapes, and the fascinating stories behind these extraordinary plants.

During our visit you'll:

  • Tour the famous crinum lily production fields

  • Explore inspiring cottage gardens and unique plantings

  • Enjoy lunch on the farm beneath majestic pecan trees

  • Learn practical gardening techniques and design ideas

  • Shop for unusual crinum lilies, specialty plants, and Jenks' books

Whether you're a longtime admirer of Jenks' work or discovering his gardens for the first time, this promises to be one of our most memorable Lunch & Learn events of the year.
